After graduating with a Masters of Industrial Design from the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHDK) in 2005, Isabell has worked in The United States, Germany and Switzerland with several internationally-acclaimed brands, such as Smart Design, Astro Studios, Microsoft, HP, Samsung, Adidas, Burton, Quiksilver and VIU.
In 2010, she established her Zürich-based studio and has since worked within the fields of product, furniture and spatial design, with a strong focus on material qualities and craftsmanship. In 2020, Isabell co-founded Solá Solá Studios with her husband, Kyle Solá.
Her work is characteristically clever, with the keen ability to arrange individually complex elements in strikingly simple compositions.
